ISD Intel: 2021 Recruiting Update
On Chance Tucker, I'm told he goes back and forth. Lake will get him on the phone and he starts leaning towards Washington. Mickens gets on the phone and they he leans back to ND. I'm thinking ND is currently out front, but Washington isn't letting up. Heard he could announce soon. Right now, I think ND has the best shot, but it's been a back and forth thing for awhile. Still, I think it's trending ND currently. On Mitchell Evans. Heard he really likes McNulty. He likes ND's campus. Feels it's a fit. As Christian said, he may take some more visits. Heard the Ga. Tech interest is his sister plays volleyball somewhere in Georgia. Might even be Georgia. However, I think ND is in great shape here. On Prince Kollie, I think the real issue is he just doesn't get ND at this point. He doesn't understand what it means and can do for him. He doesn't seem to be in a big hurry to commit, but a lot of these kids are reserving spots. Will he wait long enough to find out what ND is? He obviously can't visit, and that hurts ND. Right now, it seems to be trending Louisville, but ND is working him hard. Just need to get him to buy into the whole package thing, which he hasn't as of yet.I asked if ND was still very much in it with Nolan Rucci. Still very good conversation here. I still feel it is likely to be a ND/Wisconsin battle, with PSU still in the race. He keeps saying engineering and academics are big. I think landing Spindler (if/when they do) will actually help with him. But, if he can't visit, that will hurt. He doesn't seem to be in any hurry to decide right now, so that helps ND. He does seem to have a legit interest in ND.On Rocco Spindler , nothing has changed on our opinion. We still think it's trending ND. At WR, it's a little less sure what is happening.Heard he staff was a bit split on Andrel Anthony Jr. and where he'd play. Some liked him at DB, some at WR. He wants to be a WR so ND didn't recruit him as hard as others. Most likely heading to Michigan State. On Deion Colzie, still the same. Still communication.I still believe his Mom wants him at ND, but the distance is the main issue. If ND could get him back on campus, many think ND would be tough to be beat, but can't get that done at this point. On Donte Thornton Jr., same thing. Good communication. Oregon out front, but only because he hasn't visited ND. Will he? Who knows. ND definitely No. 2 and climbing. Same with Titus Mokiao-Atimalala. He likes ND a lot, but really, really difficult to get any kid to leave Hawaii or the West Coast for ND. Having Myron as a cousin helps, but how do you get him if he can't ever visit? That's all I have for today.Mike

Stanford Taking a Hit in Recruiting
Notre Dame has felt the impact of not having on-campus visits this cycle. Stanford has as well and it's to the point where they won't recover this cycle

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
