2020 OL Bryn Tucker: “The offensive line they had this year was amazing"
Notre Dame offered 2020 Knoxville Catholic offensive lineman Bryn Tucker on Friday and it was a significant one for the 6-foot-4, 300-pounder.

New Offer: 2020 TN OL Bryn Tucker
Notre Dame is on the grind for 2020 as Knoxville Catholic (Tenn.) offensive line Bryn Tucker tells me the Irish just offered. The 6-foot-4, 300-pounder is likely going to end up as one of the nation's best in 2020. Tucker played on the same team as 2018 Notre Dame offeree Cade Mays and 2018 receiver Dashon Bussell this fall. Tucker holds offers from Alabama, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Tennessee. Target List Update: Add One/Scratch One
We've added an offensive lineman to our 2018 Target List and removed another.First, following Mike Frank's Recruiting Intel piece last week, it's no surprise OL Luke Jones is the player we've added. After Bret Bielema's firing on Friday night, there's no doubt Jones will be consdering other options and Notre Dame may be at the top of the list at this point. We've also removed former Tennessee OL commit Cade Mays. He was in touch with the Irish staff even before he decommitted form the Vols and was looking at getting to ND for an official, but we don't believe that will happen. At this point, we'd be surprised if Mays didn't end up at Clemson.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Notre Dame and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Notre Dame and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
