Jeremiah Holloman has been planning to visit Notre Dame since the 2017 Georgia receiver landed his offer from the Irish in April and although he doesn’t have everything locked in yet, he’s still planning to be in South Bend for Irish Invasion on June 18th.

“I’m still looking at how I’m going to get up there, but as of right now, I’m still looking forward to getting up there,” the 6-foot-3, 195-pounder from Newton High School said.

“I want to meet the players and just seeing how they feel about the coaching staff, getting a chance to see the facilities, the school and all of the stuff, get an accurate feel for the program and stuff like that.”

Holloman, who isn’t sure if he’ll compete at the camp if he does make it, has been talking with Notre Dame assistant coach Scott Booker a lot.

“They’ve been keeping up communications with me, just seeing how my daily life has been, making sure everything is OK and stuff like that,” he said. “We’ve just been talking about aspects of the school and how they’d see me fitting in.

“He’s a great person, I really like him.”

Booker has explained how the Irish see Holloman fitting in with their program.

“Being a big piece of their puzzle,” said Holloman. “Being an outside receiver, a possession-type receiver. Whenever they need me to switch in and run some slot routes and create some mismatches to keep the offense going.”

Holloman’s offer sheet continues to grow, recently adding USC to a list that includes the likes of Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Michigan and South Carolina among several others. He doesn’t have any official leaders, but said Auburn, Tennessee and Georgia are sticking out a bit early.

“Those are the schools that are the schools that are recruiting me the hardest,” he said. “I don’t really have any leaders right now.”

He hasn’t hit the road much in the last few months, but that’ll change soon.

“I’ve been to a few schools earlier, but I haven’t been anywhere recently,” he said. “I’ll be starting back up visiting soon. I don’t really have any in particular, I’m just going to go with the flow and hit as many as possible.”

He doesn’t have a timeline for his decision, but does know what he’s looking for in a program.

“Somewhere I would definitely fit in with the situation they have going on on the offensive side of the ball. Somewhere I could be a playmaker, somewhere I could be comfortable and my family could be comfortable with.”
