I put together a "Top 10" of remaining targets on ND's board. Actually, it is down to 9, since Geordan Porter (WR) just gave his verbal to ND.

This is by no means a full/comprehensive list of targets. Just the top targets that seem to have the most buzz around interest in ND (and are not committed to other schools).

I will try to stay on top of this for the rest of the recruiting season for the class of 2018.

Stan-USC-ND

Just an assumption on my part, but I think with Porter's commitment, ND really focuses on one more WR.

Obviously, St. Brown is at the top of the list, but I don't think ND has a real good shot here. It just doesn't feel like he is really interested in ND. That leaves Cota and Keys III.

I think Cota stays out west.

Keys appears to have academic hurdels, so I think he is a longshot.

Petit-Frere's post-visit interview was lukewarm at best. Taking his comments at face value, he was not a fan of ND.

He's not a talker. I wouldn't read too much into it.

I think if Keys wants to come aboard, we take him. If St. Brown decides in favor of Irish on NSD, we take him, he is that good. I am sure we would take at least 2 more OL, if NPF and another decide Irish. The linebacker from CA is an interesting situation. I would love to have him at ND. I think you are going to see more and more high level players taking interest in the Irish as we keep winning, and winning impressively. Early signing day in December promises to be very interesting, especially with recruits committed elsewhere that ND is trying to flip.

Keys is definitely a take.

Well, I had Wilkins Jr in my personal notes, but I didn't update this thread.

Joe Wilkins Jr has given his verbal commitment to ND. He is a CB out of Floriday. Listed as a 3-star. 6'2 / 175.

Wilkins Jr's ranking won't jump off the page, but I trust that he can develop.

Julian Love had his doubters and he has made an impact since stepping on campus.

I like Wilkins' height, 6'2" for a CB. Helps with taller wideouts.

Wilkins is explosive.

Not much changed with this top group.

Keys cancelled his OV, but is planning on rescheduling.

Keys cancellation had nothing to do with his interest. His team advanced in the playoffs and plays 5 hours away from home on Friday night.

Tommy Tremble is visiting for the Navy game.

Based on the buzz heating up this week on his interest in ND, I have him on commitment watch!

ND is no longer recruiting Chris Murray.

Houston Griffith has decommitted from FSU. ND is in good shape hear, but by no means a lock.

I haven't heard much trending up for Bracy, Crim, or Irvin, but I still have them on my radar. Same thing for the WRs. I expect St. Brown and Cota to stay out west. Keys might be the best bet if they add a WR.

A couple of names gaining traction are Kyler Gordon and Houston Griffith. Both are DBs, which is a big need IMO.

Amon-Ra St. Brown WR CA Stan-USC
Chase Cota WR OR Ore-UCLA
Lawrence Keys III WR LA Top 5
Tommy Tremble TE Top 5
Nic Petit-Frere OL FL Low
Tariq Bracy CB CA Med
Avonta Crim DB FL ND Lead
Julius Irvin DB CA Top 5
Kyler Gordon DB WA Top 5
Houston Griffith CB FL Top 5

Some new names catching my attention: Tommy Bush, the Langham kid. I will keep an eye on these kids, but ND appears to have a long way to go in my opinion.

Braden Lenzy back on the radar also (if Taggart leaves Oregon).

I think these kids are longshots, but they are on my radar.
