As Matt reported earlier in the week, Notre Dame hosted 2020 Kentucky offensive tackle Walker Parks for a visit on Tuesday. The 6-foot-5, 245-pounder also made stops at Northwestern and Purdue while in the area.

He landed an offer from Northwestern during his visit there and added one from Purdue today. He didn't pick up an Irish offer just yet, but his visit was certainly a success.

There wasn't a ton of advance notice given to Notre Dame prior to Parks' arrival, so he wasn't expecting a whole bunch. But when he arrived in South Bend, there was a tour guide waiting for him and he was able to spend about a half-hour with Irish offensive line coach Jeff Quinn. It was much more than the Lexington native expected.

Quinn was straight-up about the fact that he'd like to get Parks to camp this summer to work with him before extending an offer and that's something Parks says he will "definitely" do.

Parks is also planning to hit camps at Clemson and South Carolina this summer. He also has offers from programs like Louisville and Kentucky and is open to making trips to other schools that express an interest.

Feeling comfortable and feeling like he'll have a chance to make it to the next level will be important factors in Parks' decision as will academics.

Will have a full story on Parks later.
