I don't think that's a fair assessment. Kids sometimes have to do what their parents want at times.

I think he did the best thing he could do for himself. I don't think he could've played at ND.

From our view, he didn't fit well as a safety in this defense, and I think ND has a lot of guys who fit that Rover role, so he would've had a lot of competition there, plus not wanting to be a Rover, I think he did the best thin for him.

He was not going to play at ND at safety. I doubt he can play many places at safety. He thinks he's a safety.

He's a Rover/small backer.

He was no good in coverage. Very limited athletically at safety.
