Top 2023 WR Names Top 10
2023 William Field (Ariz.) WR Kyle Kasper is one of the nation's top receivers and has narrowed his recruitment to 10. Kasper will focus on Arizona State, Georgia, Iowa, Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Tennessee, UCLA and USC. Iowa is the favorite to land the four-star prospect and the Hawkeyes showed they could win a battle for a top player last year by keeping Xavier Nwankpa home. Kasper is a Midwest kid, so leaving the West Coast isn't going to be an issue either. Notre Dame is a program Kasper wanted the offer from and we'll see if Chansi Stuckey can keep the Irish in this one.RankingISD: N/R247: 91 (four-star)Rivals: 5.9 (four-star)ESPN: 81 (four-star)Composite: 94.57 (four-star)Junior Highlightshttps://www.hudl.com/video/3/11265544/6158d30915f5a70bd8e6b937

Notre Dame on the Road | 1.27
With two days left in the evaluation period, Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman will return to the Midwest for the final 48 hours. 2023 King (Mich.) quarterback Dante Moore and 2024 Saline (Mich.) quarterback CJ Carr will have Freeman and Mike Mickens at their respective schools on Thursday. Moore, a priority target for Notre Dame, continues to have the Irish as a top contender, but as we've reported over the last few weeks, the five-star prospect isn't in a hurry to make a decision. Notre Dame's staff has also put in the work with Carr by being at his school every chance they can get and Freeman's presence should be a good thing to end the evaluation period. Freeman and Mickens are also expected to check on 2023 Simeon (Ill.) receiver Malik Elzy. Offensive coordinator Tommy Rees and tight ends coach John McNulty will be in NoCal to check on 2023 tight end commit Cooper Flanagan. Flanagan picked up an offer from Alabama recently, so the staff getting back at De La Salle is a good move to kill any momentum Alabama or any other program might have. Receivers coach Chansi Stuckey is expected to make his way out to Arizona to check on top 2023 Williams Field receiver Kyle Kasper. Kasper is a kid who has Midwest ties, but also an Iowa legacy. It was a little surprising he didn't find his way to campus this fall, but Notre Dame is continuing to push for him. Offensive line coach Harry Hiestand will be in the Carolinas on Thursday. 2023 South Point (N.C.) offensive lineman Sullivan Absher will be on campus this weekend, but we expect Heistand to be at his school. Hiestand is also expected to check on top 2023 offensive line target Monroe Freeling and 2023 offensive lineman Markee Anderson, who has a chance to be one of the top linemen in the country. Defensive line coach Al Washington and Director of Recruiting Chad Bowden will be in Tampa. Berkeley Prep (Fla.) will be a stop as Notre Dame continues to make its presence felt with 2023 commit Keon Keeley. Keeley's teammate, 2022 linebacker Tre Reader, will be on campus this weekend as he holds a PWO offer from the Irish, so he'll get time with Bowden and Washington today.Safeties coach Chris O'Leary will be back in New Jersey to check on 2023 safety commit Adon Shuler and his teammate, 2024 safety Vaboue Toure, who was offered last week. Special teams coordinator Brian Mason will work his way through Central Ohio on Thursday.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
