It was a beautiful day on the campus of Culver Academy. It was obvious that the Irish were on the final day of a five day stretch of practices, as several players were nursing minor injuries, but it was great to see them end their run at Culver with some live scrimmaging. When the teams broke up, I concentrated on the defense. Here are some general thoughts on what I saw today:
