Even only a few years ago, losing a talent like Kevin Austin for any amount of games would be crippling for Notre Dame. I’m not going to pretend like he wouldn’t have made an impact. He’s the most talented receiver on the team in my opinion.

But because they have more depth overall at receiver, tight end, and have running backs who can make plays in the passing game, they have enough weapons for it to not hurt as much.
