A few years ago Bob Davie’s run at New Mexico was considered a feel good story. After struggling out of the gate, Davie found success with a hybrid triple option offense that had his team as one of the top rushing offenses in the country. The Lobos peaked at 9-4 in 2016 capped off by a win in a bowl game for the first time since 2007.
Things turned very sour from that point on.
