6 Thoughts on a Thursday

September 12, 2019

Ball State. Those are the two words Notre Dame coaches should be repeating to the players all week.

Ball. State.

In a game that shouldn’t have been close, it ended up being a one score game. The offensive line played like they thought they were still facing Michigan. Ball State accumulated more tackles for loss in that game than any other the rest of the season. The Havoc Rate against the Irish was 26.3%, which means that Ball State created a negative play at a rate higher than the average of the leading team in the nation last season.
