Two things really stood out to me after watching Notre Dame’s gritty win over Virginia on Saturday.  The Irish defense is one mentally tough and impressive group of players, and the Irish offense appears to be a “work in progress” at best.  

It’s important to point out that the Cav’s were very much “up” for this game.
