Saturday night will be the last Michigan-Notre Dame game until 2033.

Michigan announced on Saturday morning the Irish and Wolverines will tango in 2033 and 2034.

September 3rd, 2033: Ann Arbor

September 2nd, 2034: South Bend.

“I want to thank Warde (Manuel) and Coach Harbaugh for helping us secure the future of the series and continuing to work with us as we look for addition dates when Notre Dame and Michigan might play,” stated Notre Dame Athletic Director Jack Swarbrick.

“College football is at its best when its top opponents square off. This is an example of that as are Notre Dame’s recently completed series with Georgia, futures series against Alabama, Arkansas, Michigan State, Ohio State, Texas A&M and Wisconsin, and our annual rivalry games with USC and Stanford. Having played in 13 of America’s 20 largest markets during Coach Kelly’s tenure, Notre Dame remains committed to the uniquely national schedule that has long defined us.”

Michigan currently holds a 24-18-1 record against the Irish and are 14-7 at Michigan Stadium.

Kickoff for Saturday night is set for 7:44 p.m. on ABC.
