Over the weekend, Mitchell Evans‍ announced his Top 10 and it was no surprise that Notre Dame made the cut for the 2021 Ohio tight end.

The Irish extended a scholarship offer just last week, but tight ends coach John McNulty had been evaluating and in contact with Evans for weeks earlier.

Notre Dame explained its process was a little more thorough than some other schools and that when it extended an offer, it would be a committable one.
