Frank Commentary

As Notre Dame kicker, John Doerer, kicked off Notre Dame’s season on Saturday afternoon, I think the entire Notre Dame fandom were finally able to exhale after a miserable six months of uncertainty.  Finally, we had reached liftoff, but I wouldn’t say this was a perfect flight, and there were certainly some bumps and turbulence in the cabin, but that’s probably to be expected with so much anxiety in the air.
