No new staff member will receive as much attention as new Irish defensive coordinator Mike Elko. Now that Elko has officially been hired, we were able to catch up with a couple more people who have dealt with him on a personal level during the recruiting process. The feedback has been overwhelming positive and at least one source is convinced Elko will have even more success recruiting at Notre Dame than he did while he was at Wake Forest.
