Marcus Freeman’s first season as defensive coordinator started with injuries to Marist Liufau (LB), Shayne Simon (LB), Jojo Johnson (CB), Osita Ekwonu (LB) combined with captain Kurt Hinish, Jordan Botelho (Vyper) and Prince Kollie (LB) missing two games.
