Notre Dame defensive lineman Jayson Ademilola is back for a fifth year and he’ll start the spring rehabbing from a shoulder injury he suffered early in the 2021 season. The New Jersey native discussed having his shoulder cleaned up on Friday afternoon as Ademilola spoke for the first time since the Fiesta Bowl.
Ademilola also went in-depth on what factored into his decision to return to Notre Dame over heading to the NFL, which included probably the last opportunity to line up next to his twin brother, Justin.
Mike Elston is off to Michigan and Ademilola expressed his support for his former defensive line coach and why he was grateful for the chance to be a student under him.
And in an offseason of chaos, Ademilola explained why he's excited for the first year under Marcus Freeman's leadership.
