Video | Notre Dame WR Avery Davis on Rehab, Tyler Buchner & Marcus Freeman
Notre Dame receiver Avery Davis is back for a sixth year and he admitted the positive changes of Marcus Freeman influenced his decision to return for another year.
Davis didn't quite know what to expect when Brian Kelly left for LSU, but the Fiesta Bowl prep allowed him to grasp what the program would be like under Freeman and made his decision an easy one.
The Texas native also updated his rehab progress following his ACL injury and a timeline on when he wants to return.
Davis, a former Notre Dame quarterback, went in-depth on Tyler Buchner. He provided insight into Buchner's growth in practice and his strengths as Irish fans have only seen snippets of his game.
