Getting Over the Hump?

It almost seems like it’s not real.  For a long time Irish fans have been hoping to take that next step for the Notre Dame football program.  Are we finally here?  

For many years, it was “Hope Springs Eternal,” but something feels different this time.  

If for nothing else, I do think first-year Irish head coach, Marcus Freeman, gets it.  He understands why Notre Dame hasn’t gotten over the hump.
