Quinn Carroll still has plenty of time before he needs to pick a school, but the sophomore is already a big-time prospect and the 20 FBS offers he has prove that.

Notre Dame hasn’t official jumped in the race for the 2019 offensive lineman from Minnesota just yet, but that could come soon.

The 6-foot-6, 280-pounder from Minneapolis has certainly garnered more than his fair share of attention already and his offer sheet includes schools like Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee, UCLA and USC among others.

While he admits to a great deal of excitement, he also has great people around him to keep him grounded.

“The interest is exciting but I have an amazing support staff and am blessed beyond belief,” he said.

Even though the Irish haven’t offered yet, they have been in touch and Carroll is set to take an unofficial visit to South Bend on April 2nd.

Carroll said he’s definitely interested in Notre Dame and even knows one of the Irish’s former hockey stars.

“I am family friends with Anders Lee and he has nothing but good words about Notre Dame,” said Carroll of Lee, who is currently with the New York Islanders.

“I have always followed Notre Dame and their football program.”

Carroll is in no rush to make a decision and plans to take his time to make sure he makes the right choice.

“I have a ton of time but I've been advised to figure out what I want now or else the process with start to take over and I like to see an offensive line coach who encourages putting guys in the dirt, an atmosphere of diehard fans and a brotherhood type program that will show tough love.”
