It’s Friday and here at Irish Sports Daily, that means ISD Intel, our weekly peek behind the scenes of Notre Dame Football and Irish recruiting efforts.

The Blue-Gold Game is tomorrow and as always, there will be several recruits in South Bend, including multiple signees and commits along with some key 2018 and 2019 prospects.

Hear about 2018 Ohio linebacker Dallas Gant’s new workout regimen, his work ethic and his character. Also, find out how this weekend’s visit could be different for Gant, who has already been on campus several times.

Hear about the connections between 2018 Florida wide receiver Kevin Austin Jr. and Irish assistant Autry Denson, which go beyond being from Broward County.

2018 Oregon wide receiver Chase Cota will be on campus with his friend and Irish wide receiver commit Braden Lenzy. Find out how Lenzy plans on grabbing Cota’s attention while in South Bend in an effort to make Notre Dame a serious contender.

Lenzy won’t be the only commit doing some recruiting this weekend and some targets, including Austin and Michigan offensive lineman Jalen Mayfield are looking forward to their pitches.

We also have updates on 2018 California linebacker Jack Lamb, who was offered earlier this week, and 2018 Nevada linebacker Brandon Kaho, who is currently committed to BYU, but keeping his options open.

We take a look at former Irish quarterback Malik Zaire and where he’s most likely to land as of now.

And we have another update on Notre Dame basketball recruiting.

Get all of that and more in this week’s ISD Intel.
