Film Don't Lie: Takacs Only Scratching the Surface

George Takacs is a 4 star prospect. For some people who loosely follow recruiting, that distinction is enough for them to make a judgement. Seeing a 4 or 5 star ranking attached to a commitment makes people feel comfortable. If it's less than that, they might feel uneasy about the future.

The truth is those star rankings say very little about the total evaluation of a player. There is much more to it and college coaches aren't sitting their putting stars beside a recruit's name.
