The big news coming from Brian Kelly’s press conference on Wednesday is the defense is ahead of the offense for the first time in years. It was a statement that allowed many Notre Dame fans to rejoice, as it seems new defensive coordinator Mike Elko is making the small differences the Irish had lacked for the last three seasons.
