Hunter Spears Talks Notre Dame Pledge

September 15th, Hunter Spears’ birthday was the highly-anticipated commitment date that Notre Dame fans were waiting for, but Irish fans got a treat on Tuesday evening when the 2019 Texas defensive tackle officially announced his commitment.

“I felt ready, so I didn’t think I needed to take any more time,” Spears said afterward. “I felt good about it and it felt right. I thought it was the right thing to do.
