Notre Dame will be a young team this season and Mike Brey wanted to make sure his team got all the work possible before taking on a tough 2018-19 schedule.
The Irish traveled to the Bahamas and got in its first game on Wednesday night in front of a not so packed house.
Brey saw his team cruise to a 119-61 win with senior Rex Pflueger leading the way with 20 points. Other standouts on Wednesday include TJ Gibbs (17 points, 6 assists), Nate Laszewski (17 points, 7 rebounds), Juwan Durham (16 points, 9 rebounds) and Robby Carmody (16 points, 5 rebounds).
