There were plenty of reasons to be excited about the Irish after their big win against Michigan. The play of the defensive line, Brandon Wimbush’s pocket presence, and the way the Irish tackled have to all be near the top of the list.

Notre Dame had the look of a top-10 team. Michigan did not.

There was also some things that they didn’t do all that well. Running the football with players other than Wimbush sticks out in that respect.
