With the news that Ian Book was out for Saturday’s game against Florida State, I’ll admit I was concerned if Notre Dame’s offense could step up their game and carry the load with Book out of the game.  The talented QB has been masterful leading the ND offense, and without his pinpoint passing, would the Seminoles be able to shut down Notre Dame’s running game and come after Irish QB, Brandon Wimbush?  I’m sure I was not alone in my concern.
