The Cotton Bowl is in the rearview as Notre Dame’s players reported back to campus on Monday. Notre Dame welcomed 10 early enrollees over the weekend so it’s an exciting time around campus. 

I caught up with a source on Monday to get a few feelings on where the program stands after the Cotton Bowl, but also some thoughts following the news offensive coordinator Chip Long interviewed at Alabama.
