Notre Dame will officially open the season at North Carolina on November 6th, but the Irish will host a pretty cool exhibition game to start the year.

Capital University (Ohio) will come to South Bend on October 29th and the Crusaders are coached by Damon Goodwin, the father of Notre Dame guard Dane Goodwin. Goodwin is the winningest coach in Capital history (389-254) and has won five Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) titles.

Following the trip to Chapel Hill, Notre Dame will host six games and four of those games will be part of the 2019 Men Against Breast Cancer Invitational where the Irish will host Robert Morris, Howard, Marshall and Toledo.

On December 4th, Notre Dame will travel to College Park (Md.) for the ACC/Big 10 Challenge. Maryland won the last meeting 74-66 in 2014. Mike Brey is 2-2 against the Terps, while Notre Dame is 4-2 in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge.

UCLA will come to South Bend on December 14th  and it will be the Bruins first trip to Purcell Pavilion since 2009 when the Irish won 84-73. Notre Dame is 12-11 all-time against UCLA at home, while Brey is 7-3 all-time against Bruins first-year head coach Mick Cronin.

Indiana and Notre Dame will face off in Indianapolis in the Crossroads Classic on December 21st. Notre Dame is 4-4 in the Crossroads Classic and beat Purdue 88-80 last year. The Hoosiers and Irish will be meeting for the 73rd time and Indiana holds a significant advantage in the series at 50-22.
