The reasoning behind why I've asked what the staff is doing. Need to cast a larger net cuz they are completely whiffing here...

Mike F. has always stated that losses lead to weak recruiting. Hard to argue with his simple premise.
Plus, the lack of recruiting by the head coach. Would seem easy to assign Kelly 5 must 5* kids each year
for him to recruit. He would receive support from position coaches.

A text, a tweet, a phone call, a visit... all of this could be orchestrated. No, instead Kelly positions himself as the grand wizard of football, sitting on his padded throne awaiting the throngs of recruits to receive his blessing as
worthy to be recruited by ND.

His smugness and smarminess do indeed work against him.

And yet ND fans will get more of this through next season too!
