Could Offer Go Out To 2017 Nebraska DT Commit Soon?

Notre Dame hasn’t offered Deontre Thomas a scholarship yet, but after receiving a visit from Irish defensive line coach Mike Elston on Thursday, the 2017 Oklahoma defensive tackle believes one could be coming soon.

“He got my wingspan and talked to me,” Thomas said of Elston.

“He’s going to offer me ASAP. He took my picture and stuff and wants to go back and talk it over with Coach (Mike) Elko, the DC and then they’re going to get back with me. He said he wants me out there.
