There are ways that some lipstick could be put on this pig of a game by the Notre Dame offense.

After a Louisville turnover, Notre Dame could have gone up 14-7 to start the 3rd quarter if Chris Tyree tracked the ball better over shoulder on a slot fade. That’s an example of execution making a difference.

Notre Dame was down 17-10 later on and immediately responded with a 30-yard reception to Mitchell Evans that was nicely schemed up off a fake screen.
