Notre Dame football never has a dull moment and Riley Leonard's ankle situation is the latest hurdle for Marcus Freeman’s third season. 

Is it concerning? Big picture, probably not. It appears it’s just a situation that needs to be fixed with rest and not having Leonard push it, which isn’t great because he needs all the reps he can get as he transitions to a new team and offense.
