2026 DL Cameron Brickle Talks Notre Dame Offer, Possible Visit
HACKENSACK, N.J. - Cameron Brickle came here on Sunday for the Under Armour Next Football Camp Series here at Hackensack High School to showcase his strength and lateral quickness.
The 2026 Pennsylvania defensive lineman did that and then some.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder arrived as a big-name prospect already, with offers from schools like Notre Dame, Penn State, Pitt, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Oregon and USC among several others.
He landed his Irish offer back on St. Patrick’s Day and spoke with the coaches a couple weeks ago.
“They were just saying they want me to get up there,” the Malvern Prep standout said. “They said they have me on their recruiting list now and they were talking about my old teammate, Peter Jones, who actually goes there now.”
Brickle said he will “definitely” make it to South Bend at some point and is hoping to get there sometime next month.
“I really just want to see how they are, how the players connect with the coach and the coach's delivery with the players and how he just coaches,” said Brickle. “A lot of people say a lot of things, but I'm the type of k, I need to see stuff. I need to see stuff for myself.
“If I see the coach is doing what everybody says he's doing, then I have no choice but to respect it.”
Brickle also has plans to get to Oklahoma and Alabama this summer.
Trust is going to be a major factor in Brickle’s final decision.
“How the coaches keep their promises and are truthful to the player,” he said. “Because with all this recruiting stuff, a lot of people just tell people whatever the kids want to hear or all the stuff that they want the kid to hear and it's not fully truthful.
“I want all the truth, nothing but the truth. That's mainly what I look at and that's what I really look for and I look forward to seeing that.”
