Notre Dame cornerbacks coach Todd Lyght gave an update on his position group after the eighth practice of the spring. 

On goals for the cornerbacks:
“Our ability to tackle on the perimeter with authority and understanding of route combinations and how to play to our help. We’re always trying to finish in a dominant position in all the drill, even when the guy they’re covering isn’t getting the ball.
