Priority 2019 WR Target John Metchie III Sets Notre Dame Visit

2019 St. James School (Md.) receive John Metchie III is one of the hottest names on the recruiting trail. The four-star prospect tells ISD he will be at Notre Dame next week.

The 5-foot-11, 188-pounder will be in South Bend on Thursday and is looking forward to getting know to receivers coach Del Alexander. 

Metchie will also visit Ohio State (4/11), Michigan State (4/13) and Michigan on (4/14). 

As of now, I believe it's a Notre Dame/Penn State battle for his services. The educational opportunities at both schools have intrigued him to this point. 

Notre Dame offered Metchie in January, and he holds offers from the likes of Alabama, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Penn State, Pitt, Syracuse and Temple.
