National Signing Day is almost here.

Notre Dame is currently sitting on 18 verbal commitments in the Class of 2017 with four prospects left on the board. The Irish have secured verbal pledges from three prospects within the last week with California defensive back Jordan Genmark Heath, Kansas wide receiver Jafar Armstrong and North Carolina kicker Jon Doerer all announcing their intentions to sign with the Irish next fall.

Genmark Heath was committed to Cal before his official visit earlier this month while Armstrong was pledged to Missouri and Doerer to Maryland before they took their trips to South Bend this weekend.

If Notre Dame is going to have similar success in the final hours of the process, it will require some more flips. Two of the final four prospects are currently committed elsewhere while a third had been committed elsewhere until a couple weeks ago.

We believe the Irish have a shot at each of the remaining targets, but how do you think the Irish finish?

Personally, I do see a strong finish.

I think Yeast sticks with Louisville now, but I believe ND has great shots at the remaining four.

I think Amosa is the best bet (and a great get) and maybe one other. Really a toss-up on these. Would love to see Harris and Yeast flip, but not usually our luck. Will not be a fantastic class, but with all things considered, having a top 15 class isn't bad.

I think this should almost be looked at from a most confident to least confident perspective because they could realistically land all 5.
5 being the most confident - Amosa

I'd say yeast and Harris both flip and they get Amosa. All things considered that's a pretty good finish to the class with a chance to start the next cycle strong.

I think Wardlow is especially interesting with only 2yrs playing football and 1yr starting. Good first step, love his length, too. I'm interested to see how he develops.
