Notre Dame's defensive class of 2023 is off to a very strong start. This is thanks in part to the verbal commitments at the Cornerback and Safety position. The defensive class currently has 3 verbals, all inside the ESPN Top 150 Ranking. Both positions need to add depth and talent. Evident in the Fiesta Bowl.

The class of 23' is off to a great start and I expect the Notre Dame coaching staff to go all out to keep adding talented prospects.

Current verbal commitments at Cornerback and Safety….

Cornerback
Justyn Rhett (6'1 / 190) Nevada 4 Star, #62 on ESPN Top 300, 92 rating on Irish Sports Daily

Peyton Bowen (6'0 / 185) Texas - 4 Star, #50 on ESPN Top 300, 92 rating on Irish Sports Daily

The next group on the radar is:

CB Jyhaire Hill (6'3 / 180) IL - 4 Star, # on ESPN Top 300, 92 rating on Irish Sports Daily

DB Amare Snowden (6'4 / 190) MI - 4 Star, 90 rating on Irish Sports Daily

The buzz is that ND has a legit shot at Christian Grey.

Caleb Downs appears to be a longshot.

Amare Snowden will be a tough pull out of Michigan

Don't know much about Jyhaire Hill
