I noticed that we have a few tall and big tight ends . My question is why not use them and create space for them. As tall as they are seems like that would be a advantage . GO IRISH, WE ARE NOTRE DAME.

I think they do "create space" for them. Michael Mayer is one of the focal points of the ND passing offense.

As for the others. My guess is the staff doesn't see them as the receiving options that Mayer is.
