2021 ATH Jack Bech commits to
No shock. 2021 St. Thomas More (La.) ATH Jack Bech has committed to LSU. It'st the second offer in a matter of days that Notre Dame has dished out to a Louisiana prospect only to see them commit to LSU hours later. Not sure if it's a bad read on both kids, but somewhat puzzling as it was clear both were going to LSU prior to Notre Dame offering.

Quick note on 2021 ATH Jack Bech
Just spoke to a source in Louisiana and Notre Dame is evaluating 2021 St. Thomas More (La.) athlete Jack Bech, who decommitted from Vanderbilt on Wednesday. I would tend to believe Notre Dame likes him on defense while LSU and others like him at receiver. The source said LSU is very much in the driver's seat and a commitment could be coming soon to the Tigers. According to the source, there is a long history of Bech's family at LSU, so I'm not sure an offer from the Irish would be a difference-maker at the end of the day. It's also worth noting, Bech's teammate at St Thomas More, Walker Howard, is LSU's 2022 QB commit. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/9812540/5d7d52ae478cd30ebc5b1969

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Notre Dame and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Notre Dame and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2
