Note on 2022 OL Billy Schrauth and 2022 DT Anthony Lucas
Touched base with 2022 St. Mary's Springs (Wis.) offensive lineman Billy Schrauth and he will be back in South Bend for his official visit on June 18th. It looks like that weekend is turning into perhaps the most important one of the summer for the offensive line as he'll be joined by fellow Wisconsin four-stars Carson Hinzman and Joe Brunner. (I'm sure this makes Wisconsin fans happy) As of now, I think Notre Dame feels pretty good about its chances with Hinzman and Schrauth, but can they take both as they still need a tackle in the class? I've heard rumblings Notre Dame is open to taking up to five offensive linemen in the class, which seems high to me, but if they can land Hinzman, Schrauth and one of Brunner/Jake Taylor/Aamil Wagner, I think it'd be hard to turn down. Also touched base with 2022 Chaparral (Ariz.) defensive tackle Anthony Lucas and he has set an official visit to Notre Dame. A source did tell me he will be in South Bend the weekend of June 11th. Lucas released his Top 10 over the weekend of Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oregon, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA and USC, so Notre Dame already having that visit locked in is a good thing moving forward.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
