The Latest | 2022 ATH Major Everhart
2022 Tascosa (Texas) athlete Major Everhart was offered by Notre Dame on July 22nd and has quickly become a fan favorite because of his elite speed. Notre Dame receivers coach Del Alexander and Tommy Rees have maintained consistent communication and Everhart seems to be very interested in the Irish program. One source in Texas felt Notre Dame may even be his leader, but probably still a bit early to get too excited as he has yet to visit South Bend. The good news is Everhart seems to be in the process of setting an official visit to Notre Dame. Everhart tells me he's looking at Sept. 18 (Purdue) or Oct. 2 (Cincy) as potential dates to get to Notre Dame. It's an interesting position for Notre Dame to be in as he's a smaller receiver prospect as he's listed at 5-foot-11, 175 pounds. Not sure he's that big, so getting him on campus to size him up is important, but there is no denying his speed and playmaking ability. If the Irish push here, I think it's a great option as the fourth receiver in the class. Programs can never have too much speed and size isn't the deal killer in the new era of college football. It's also worth stating again Everhart ran 10.34 and 10.38 in the 100m back in March.Offers: Arkansas State, Austin Peay, Baylor, Central Michigan, Colorado, East Carolina, North Texas, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Penn State, SMU, Stephen F. National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
