Couple of quick things on 2022 recruiting
Wanted to get some idea of what is going on with 2022 OL recruiting. Heard George Fitzpatrick may be coming on a visit this April, and then plans to come back in June as well. He's a tackle prospect, so it's good news he's planning to visit. I've heard Joe Brunner plans to visit this summer officially. Trying to nail in a date, but will be up in June for sure. That's also good news. I've heard things are going well with Jake Taylor. We know he's scheduled to visit in June and will visit OU as well. I think ND is in good shape here. Very important to get him to visit, but once he does, ND should be in good shape. We know Aamil Wagner is also visiting in June as is Carson Hinzman. Billy Schrauth has not scheduled his yet, but nothing to be worried about. He will visit in June. ND still in very good shape here as well. I'm told ND could take 5 O-line if the 5th is a guy they really want. They'd prefer to take 4, but some guys would be hard to turn down. It works out well as ND wants another tackle and have a legit shot at Taylor, Wagner, Brunner and Fitzpatrick. They should be able to land at least one out of that group. I'd say Taylor and Fitzpatrick are the most likely. They'd like an interior guy as well, and Schrauth or Hinzman would be the guy. Should land one out of those two. May be hard to turn the other down if both want to come as they really like both. At WR, I think the plan is, they'd like one slot type player and that would come from Tyler Morris, Xayvion Bradshaw or Addison Copeland, and one bigger guy and that would come from Tobias Merriweather, Andre Greene Jr., CJ Williams, Nicholas Anderson or Jarel Williams. With Morris, nothing scheduled yet, but working on it. He definitely plans to come in June. He will be important as if he comes, then it's a focus on the other bigger receiver. If he doesn't come, it opens things up for others, which means some of the bigger receivers could come in play and they could take two bigger receivers instead of one slot type and one bigger guy. I do know Merriweather is very high on their wish list. I expect ND to schedule something with him in June. Has not been finalized, but there is good communication here. Should get one set soon. ND really does like Anderson. They like his big body and think he can develop into a really good player with some coaching and weight room stuff. Williams continues to communicate well with ND. He's always been interested and planned to take an unofficial to ND last spring before Covid hit. He's scheduled for a visit in June and certainly a guy to keep an eye on. I think things are trending well with Greene as well. No visit scheduled yet, but good communication here. Bradshaw and Copeland are more slot type guys, but ND is interested in both. ND isn't really recruiting Darrius Clemons, even though he's been mentioned as visiting, and Williams is still a guy they like as well and on the board. Just wanted to give you a quick update on these two positions as they seem to be the most up in the air in regards to visits and who is truly interested.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.
