Coaches on the Road 4.28
Notre Dame's assistants will hit the road on Thursday as the Spring Evaluation Period is in full swing. Head coach Marcus Freeman can't be on the road per NCAA rules, but it's still a key period for the staff to check on top prospects and get evaluations of potential offers and youngsters on the rise. We expect Tommy Rees to make stops to check on 2023 quarterback Dante Moore and 2024 quarterback CJ Carr on Thursday. Both are important and Notre Dame would love for both to be in the blue and gold.Running backs coach Deland McCullough is expected to be out in Washington to drop by Lake Stevens High School to check on 2023 running back Jayden Limar, who took an unofficial visit to Notre Dame over the weekend. Receivers coach Chansi Stuckey is in Texas, making a stop to check on 2023 receiver commit Braylon James. Stuckey is also expected to check on 2023 Austin Westlake receiver Jaden Greathouse and 2024 Lake Belton receiver Micah Hudson. Tight ends coach Gerad Parker is expected to make an appearance at De La Salle (Calif), the home of 2023 tight end commit Cooper Flanagan. It's no shock to hear that we expect Al Washington to be at Berkeley Prep (Fla.) to show 2023 defensive end commit Keon Keeley. 2024 linebacker Adarius Hayes also expects Notre Dame to stop by Largo High School as he's also fresh off a visit to Notre Dame last week. We believe cornerbacks coach Mike MIckens will be at De Smet (Mo.), the high school of 2023 cornerback Christian Gray. Special teams coordinator and linebackers assistant Brian Mason and DC Al Golden are expected at Many High School (La.) to see where 2023 linebacker Tackett Curtis and 2024 safety Tylen Singleton are at in their recruitments. We also believe he'll make a stop at University Lab (la.) to check on 2023 linebacker Jaiden Ausberry. Notre Dame safeties coach Chris O'Leary will be at the NFL Draft in the green room to support Kyle Hamilton.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Notre Dame and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Notre Dame and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
