Quick Note | 2023 LB Tausili Akana
2023 Kahuku (Hawaii) LB Tausili Akana was supposed to camp at Notre Dame on Thursday, but the four-star prospect tells me that visit is off. Akana is traveling the country with his dad for visits and they had to change their schedule, but he's still trying to make it work at some point. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/14853301/5fc2a6edf31c53105cc9bcb8

Elite 2023 LB Tausili Akana Sets Notre Dame Visit
2023 Kahuku (Hawaii) linebacker Tausili Akana tells me he has set a visit to Notre Dame on June 10th. Notre Dame is a school the 6-foot-3, 210-pounder has a great deal of interest in and a player Notre Dame has been evaluating during the spring. Marcus Freeman has been in contact with him in recent weeks and Akana is looking forward to meeting the staff for the first time and hopes to leave South Bend with an offer. Akana recently camped/visited Texas and TCU last week.If Notre Dame does offer, I think they would jump immediately into his top group. Offers: Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, Cal, Colorado, Hawaii, LSU, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Oregon, Oregon State, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, UNLV, USC, Utah, Utah State, Washington, Washington State and WisconsinISD's Jamie Uyeyama has him rated as a 92, while 247 sports has Akana has the No. 27 player in the country and the No. 1 linebacker. National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Notre Dame and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Notre Dame and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
