- Marcus Freeman and Chris O'Leary will be in Las Vegas tonight for the NFL Draft to support Kyle Hamilton. - Arizona State WR transfer Ricky Pearsall is a prospect Notre Dame was not going to pursue, but now they are fully engaged in getting him to visit. He's not a graduate transfer, so obviously as everyone knows, it's complicated there for Notre Dame, but the fact they have done a 180 is a good sign overall. Pearsall recorded 48 catches, 580 receiving yards and four touchdowns last year for the Sun Devils. - 2023 offensive lineman Austin Siereveld announced a commitment date for May 4th on Wednesday fresh off a visit to Notre Dame. After talking to sources on both sides, I'd lean towards Ohio State as of now. He's a kid that hasn't said much, but I do know the pull to stay home is large and the Buckeyes have made it a significant point of emphasis to keep him in-state with Joshua Padilla and Luke Montgomery. - I posted a story on 2024 safety Marquis Gallegos this morning. It's early, but he absolutely loved everything he saw at Notre Dame. It's a bit early to throw in a prediction, but he's officially a name to watch as Gallegos will have no problem leaving the West Coast. Like I said it's early and USC is pushing for him as Lincoln Riley is making it point to recruit SoCal kids hard, but Gallegos is open to Notre Dame. - Notre Dame defensive GA James Laurinaitis seems to be making positive impressions around the program in his short time in South Bend. Players raved about him in interviews, but recruits have also spoken highly of him. It has to be a little weird for him still, but I think he has a bright future based on early feedback.
