Notre Dame on the Road | 1.26
There are three days of recruiting left in this evaluation period and Notre Dame's coaches will be making the rounds to check on some high-priority targets on Wednesday. Marcus Freeman and Al Washington will be in the DMV today. 2023 DeMatha Catholic (Md.) defensive end Jason Moore is a stop the duo is expected to make. The four-star prospect visited Notre Dame in the fall and left extremely impressed with what he saw as did his mother and aunt. 2023 Archbishop Carroll (D.C.) athlete Nyckoles Harbor will also be a player Freeman and Washington will check on. If you missed it, Harbor did this over the weekend at 6'5/225. Dylan Stewart will also be prospects we expect Freeman and Washington to check on. Offensive coordinator Tommy Rees is expected to be in SoCal today, but we'll likely have more on that later today. Tight ends coach John McNulty will be in the ATL area again on Wednesday. 2024 Colquitt County (Ga.) tight end Landen Thomas is a name we expect him to follow up on today. Receivers coach Chansi Stuckey will be in the Sunshine State to check on a couple of big-time receivers. We expected Stuckey to be at Gulliver Prep, the home of 2023 receiver Jalen Brown, who has already been to campus. Stuckey will also be at IMG Academy to check on 2023 receiver Carnell Tate and others. Tate was at Tennessee over the weekend for his second visit, but this one is still trending Ohio State or Notre Dame. We also believe Chad Bowden will be in Florida. with Stuckey to check on Brown and Christopher Columbus (Fla.) to check on 2023 running back commit Sedrick Irvin Jr., who will be on campus this weekend, before heading to Orlando to check on 2023 running back Cedric Baxter Jr. for the second week in a row. Bowden is also expected at Lakeland (Fla.), the home of 2023 receiver Tyler Williams, who the staff is high on. Offensive line coach Harry Hiestand is expected to make a stop at Don Bosco Prep (N.J.) to check on offensive lineman Chase Bisontis, who Notre Dame would love to get back on campus. We continue to believe the Irish are a major player here. Cornerbacks coach Mike Mickens is expected in Las Vegas to check on 2023 cornerback commit Justyn Rhett and he likely will evaluate some other 2023 and 2024 prospects in the area. Safeties coach Chris O'Leary will be back at Denton Guyer (Texas) to check on 2023 safety commit Peyton Bowen. Notre Dame being back in the school days after he took a visit to Oklahoma is important. As reported yesterday, Bowen is saying the right things to those in The Gug and around him, so we'll see if he's solid in the coming days or weeks. Special Teams coordinator Brian Mason will be making his way around Indianapolis while analyst Nick Lezynski will be checking on 2023 linebackers Phil Picciotti and Josiah Trotter.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.
