2024 Roman Catholic (Pa.) receiver Tyseer Denmark has named his Top 12 and Notre Dame made the cut. The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder will focus his recruitment on Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Rutgers, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and USC. It's Friday, so that means Notre Dame's staff will wrap its week on the road today. Offensive coordinator Tommy Rees will continue his travels through the Chicago area on Friday. Irish running back coach Deland McCullough will from Florida to Wisconsin to check on 2024 Catholic Memorial (Wis.) running back Corey Smith. The fours-tar prospect holds an offer and made the trip to the Blue-Gold Game last month. Ohio State holds a lead here, but Notre Dame would love for Denmark to get to campus this summer. Tight ends coach Gerad Parker is expected to remain in Tennessee, while offensive line coach Harry Hiestand will end the week in the Cincinnati area. Defensive coordinator Al Golden will return to the Midwest after spending the week on the East Coast. Golden is expected to make a stop at Andrean (Ind.) to check on 2023 linebacker commit Drayk Bowen.Al Washington spent Thursday in Columbus and he'll head north today as he's expected to be in Massillon and Akron on Friday. Safeties coach Chris O'Leary will wrap the week in Tampa, while Mike Mickens remains in Southeast Ohio and Brian Mason will wrap the week in Indy.
