Notre Dame Lands Commitment from 2024 INF Parker Brzustewicz
Notre Dame baseball has landed yet another commitment in the 2024 recruiting class.
Hot 2023 WR Earns PWO from Notre Dame
2023 Orchard Lake St. Mary's (Mich.) WR Ryan Mooney decommitted from Notre Dame baseball earlier this week as he will focus on playing football in college. On Tuesday morning, Notre Dame football offered the 6-foot-3, 170-pounder a preferred walk-on spot. Mooney, who ran a 4.28 at Miami (OH) over the summer has received quite the rush of attention since backing off his commitment from baseball. Boston College, Eastern Illinois, Illinois State and UNLV have offered him since his commitment joining Central Michigan, Dartmouth and Miami (OH). Mooney does believe he's a Power Five receiver despite this season being his first year of high school football. He's super raw, but Mooney has good size and is proving he can run by defenses. We'll see if Notre Dame's PWO spot holds up against some of the offers he'll get down the line, but I can tell you Mooney wants to be in South Bend and the baseball recruits are already recruiting him back to Irish.
